Painting Winter Dunes with Pastels

Self-Study Course

Winter is a beautiful time on the coast - beautiful golden grasses, weather trees are covered with sparkling white snow! This is the main subject of this self-study course.

While you are painting this beautiful coastal winter landscape you'll learn:

  • to see many more colors in the seemingly "white" snow
  • to capture the character of light in different types of weather
  • to mix (layer) beautiful luminous color
  • to paint realistic grasses
  • to use the texture as part of your composition
  • to create the illusion of depth and atmosphere in the coastal landscape

You'll start with a quick review of Color Basics that will help you create beautiful layered color and capture the light and mood of any scene.

Teachable.com provides unlimited time access to this course - you'll have many years to master the techniques I teach.
